Will a Thermal Imager detect moisture behind a wall?
Answer: NO, However, it will detect temperature changes via colors that will alert the user to potential problems that may exists, so it will assist, but never replace experience and common sense!
Can a Thermal Imager Detect Electrical Issues?
Answer: YES, thermal imaging can detect overloaded circuits and over fused circuits. It is invaluable to electrical non-intrusive inspections.
Can a Thermal Imager Detect Insulation Problems?
Answer: YES, and it can alert to missing, damaged, displaced and low levels of Insulation. In fact, it has detected over 200 poorly insulated attics in 2010 alone! Identifying this can lead to cost savings! With reasons ranging from squirrel damage, raccoon infestation, wind damage, old insulation standards, and human error; we identify so we can resolve!
